Chef Elena Krasnova was born in Russia and grew up during the “Perestroika” era when bare necessities were in great demand. It was at this time of her young life that she first began to express herself through artistic means, developing an ability to create ‘something from nothing’.

Later, while still in her early twenties, Elena came to Vancouver where she attended university and earned several degrees prior to moving to France to pursue her passion for making pastry. It was during her studies at the famed Ferrandie Ecole de Gastronomie in Paris that Elena found her true calling.

Back again in Canada, Chef Elena opened Mon Paris Patisserie early in 2017. Here in her 11,000 sq foot studio and cafe in Burnaby she now showcases her exquisite line of pastries, chocolates and desserts.
