ABOUT FRENCH MADE BAKING

French Made Baking is the expression of husband and wife David and Catherine Introligator’s passion for quality baked goods. Both natives of France, their mission is to recreate in Vancouver the sort of genuine neighbourhood pastry shop that you would find on any street corner in France.

They believe in making simple and good. They craft their products to delight all five senses, but the focus on taste and freshness always comes first. Using the best, often organic ingredients, they bake artisanal, small batches of sweet and savoury treats for all ages.

Everything is baked in-house as per their own recipes, reflecting their roots in traditional French cooking: croissants, cannelés, madeleines, signature mousse cakes, quiches, crêpes, soups, etc.  The French macarons are what made them famous and they offer 12 to 17 different flavours every day. Of course, they also understand the importance of pairing high quality beverages with their baked goods and thus serve a rich and creamy drinking chocolate, a selection of Kusmi teas imported from Paris, as well as locally-roasted Mogiana Coffee.

Service is available in French and English at all times. They have free underground parking on East 8th Avenue.
