Launched in 2012, Earnest Ice Cream has strived to create an ice cream that not only expresses the founder’s passion for true flavour, but as a business, also embodies their commitment to their community and to the environment.

Working in small batches allows the flexibility to experiment with foraged ingredients like fresh spruce bud and elderflower. They feature rotating, seasonal flavours like these alongside timeless classics such as salted caramel and mint chip. They also serve espresso and affogatos (espresso poured over ice cream) using locally roasted Elysian coffee.

Earnest Ice Cream was the first ice cream shop in Vancouver to pack pints in returnable and reusable glass jars. (Reuse being a part of their goal to be a zero waste company.)

Besides the company’s own two retail storefronts you can find their product in independent shops and restaurants around the city.
