Cartems was born from the vision of founder Jordan Cash and his partners to open an amazing donut shop in Vancouver. Today the Cartems name stands for three key things: smiles, conversation, and donuts. Says Cash, “If we can make people smile and talk about our donuts, then that’s a win, plain and simple.”

With Executive Chef “Rags” at the helm, the donuts are never ever frozen – the ingredients always fresh, organic whenever available, and sourced from as close to home as possible. Flour comes from Anita’s Organic Mill (Chilliwack), the meat comes from Two Rivers, the milk is from Birchwood Dairy (Abbotsford) and Avalon Dairy (Burnaby). Even the spices are local, coming from Gathering Place Trading Company on Cortes Island.

The return is obvious, local ingredients – ethically sourced and sustainable – mean a higher quality donut we can all feel better about eating.
